Because this big body Jag has been on my bucket list.
Bimmer Bonus round
The V10 sounds pretty fantastic with the Eismann Exhaust. Comfy too

The repair bills will kill you, but then you can be buried in it — Viking style! Bucket list, indeed!

You missed couple of letters. They make really nice exhaust systems but they tend to be really expensive. This single muffler would fit in my BMW but it costs around $1350.
Certain XJR parts are still a lot more expensive. A new TPS for certain year models might be more expensive than this muffler.

I can’t speak to added fun issues that come with the turbo, but my experience with my JX8L (doing its best Ron Paul there) is that they’re really not as bad as their reputation. There’s a strong Jag community, so almost all of the known issues have really well documented (like, literally step-by-step PDFs) and there’s a ton of aftermarket support.
If they’re post-2002 models, you don’t have to worry about the timing chain tensioners (I have a vague memory that XJR’s never used plastic ones, so that may not be an issue, but please, please do not take my word for it).
At this point, a lot of the problems would have manifested themselves, like the water pump, coolant reservoir, and thermostat, and they’re not a huge problem to fix on your own.

That was the following model with the 2.7 Peugeot/Ford V6. It became a 3.0 for subsequent Jags and LRs.

Haha I knew it. Yeah we’ve installed a few customer supplied systems but usually stick with Dinan.
I think the repair costs might be worth it...true love is priceless
